Top 10 TED talks every teacher must watch (part 1)

As I am sure you are all aware TED is full of brilliantly amazing talks on a wide of topics. Here is my top 10 list of talks I have found useful either for my own practice or for a tutor time watch. In no particular order:

  1. Sir Ken Robinson – Do schools kill creativity
  2. Carrie Nugent – Adventures of an asteroid hunter
  3. Christopher Bell – Bring on the female superheroes
  4. Brian Cox – Why we need the explorers
  5. Rita Pierson – Every kid needs a champion
  6. Simon Sinek – How great leaders inspire action
  7. Drew Dudley – Everyday leadership
  8. Derek Sivers – How to start a movement  (A must watch as only 3 minutes long)
  9. Ramsey Musallam – 3 rules to spark learning
  10. Apollo Robins – The art of misdirection
